These systems pay for themselves

Hard water quietly costs the average household around $800 a year — extra energy for water heating, extra soap and detergent, faster appliance wear, and plumbing repairs. At that rate, Essential pays for itself in about 3 years, Complete in 5, Ultimate in about 5.5 — and these systems are built to run well past a decade. Everything after that is money you simply stop losing.

Three things hard water is quietly ruining

It doesn't happen all at once — it happens every shower, every load of laundry, every time your water heater kicks on. Here's exactly what's going on.

Mineral film on skin

Your skin & hair

Hard water doesn't rinse soap and shampoo cleanly off your body — it leaves a mineral film behind instead. Over time that shows up as dry, itchy skin, dull or brittle hair, and soap that never quite feels like it worked.

Scale inside a water heater

Your appliances

Every time hard water heats up, it leaves mineral scale behind — inside your water heater, dishwasher, washing machine, and coffee maker. That buildup makes them work harder, run less efficiently, and fail years before they should.

Scale narrowing a pipe

Your pipes & plumbing

Scale doesn't just build up in appliances — it builds up inside your actual pipes. Narrower pipes mean lower water pressure, more strain on your plumbing, and a higher chance of an expensive repair down the road.

From water check to install in three steps — no pitch in between.

Most water companies use a "free consultation" as a foot in the door. We start with public data and end with a flat price, so the only time we're in your home is the day we install.

1

Check your water

Enter your ZIP to see your area's published hardness reading, then answer two quick questions about your home.

2

Pick your flat-rate package

Four packages, four prices — set before you call. We'll tell you which one fits, but the price never moves once you're in a room with us.

3

Install day

A licensed technician installs your system, tests every connection, and walks you through how it runs — done in a single visit for most homes.

Four packages. Four prices. No range, no negotiation.

Every package below is a flat, all-in installed price — the same price whether your job takes three hours or five. What you see is what you pay.

0-2 gpg is the real target

Why we target under 1 gpg, not just "soft"

Most water treatment companies stop once you're technically "soft" — under 3.5 gpg. We don't. Many dishwasher and tankless water heater manufacturers specify hardness limits directly in their warranty terms, often requiring under 7 gpg and voiding coverage above 10-12 gpg. At DFW's regional average of 12-13 gpg, a lot of homes are already operating outside those terms. Every system we install targets under 1 gpg — real margin, not just squeaking by.

Under 1 GPG, or the install is free.

We size every system to your home's exact hardness reading and household size. As long as that sizing is correct and you keep the salt tank filled, your water will test under 1 grain per gallon — guaranteed. If it doesn't, we refund the full install. No fine print, no hoops.

Built to handle Texas water, not a national average.

DFW water runs hard and often carries a chlorine/chloramine taste from municipal treatment. Every package is built around what actually shows up in this region's water.

We skip the sales visit because we don't need one.

Most water treatment companies quote a "free consultation" that's really a sales appointment. We built our pricing so that step isn't necessary — public hardness data plus a two-question quiz gets you to an accurate package, and a flat price means there's nothing left to negotiate in your home.

Frequently asked questions

What's the actual difference between a softener, a filter, and an RO system?+
A softener removes the hardness minerals (calcium and magnesium) that cause scale buildup and dry skin — it treats your whole house. A carbon filter removes chlorine taste and smell, also whole-house. A reverse osmosis (RO) system is a separate, more thorough filter just for drinking and cooking water at one faucet. Most homes only need a softener; the other two are add-ons if taste or drinking water quality matter to you too.
Why don't you offer a free in-home water test?+
Because it's usually a sales visit, not a real test. City water hardness is already public record — we use that plus a short quiz to size your system accurately without putting a rep in your kitchen.
Is the price on this page really the final price?+
Yes. Each package is a flat, installed price that includes standard permitting and code-required parts like backflow preventers. The only thing that changes it is choosing a different package.
Do I need a softener if I already have decent water pressure?+
Hardness and pressure aren't related — hardness is mineral content, not flow. Most DFW ZIP codes run 10+ grains per gallon, which is enough to scale fixtures and appliances over time regardless of pressure.
How long does install take?+
Essential and Complete are typically same-day, a few hours. Ultimate is a full-day job since it covers both the utility room and kitchen — we'll confirm timing when you book.
Do you service well water, not just city water?+
Our packages above are built around city water in DFW. If you're on a private well, give us a call — well water often needs additional iron or sediment treatment beyond these packages.
